Mātou Kāinga Māori Housing & Development initiative is established to help increase Māori home ownership statistics and supporting Māori growth & development strategies that align with this focus. Our mandate is to fund and or co-fund turnkey housing-solutions that result in significantly more Māori owning quality, energy efficient, financially sustainable homes.
We have a proposed target of 6,500 new homes over the next ten years and we intend to work collaboratively with Māori, Government and the Market to achieve the best possible outcomes through co-design, planning, and executing through a grassroots investment’s strategy.
